/, News/Guagua National Colleges Embraces the New Normal in Providing Quality Education

As many of us were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, it placed a threat to the different sectors of the society especially to the education sector. As many private schools permanently closed, we, in the GNC community continuously adapts to the new normal to serve and provide quality education to our students. For over a hundred years of service, GNC upholds its commitment to its mission and vision by continuing its operations despite the uncertainties brought about by the pandemic.

The classes formally opened last August 24, 2020 following the advice of DepEd for private schools including Higher Education Institutions. Series of orientations for the students were conducted during the first week of classes where different learning platforms were utilized by the different departments; some of which are Microsoft teams, google meet and zoom. In line with this, the school provided the students their Microsoft accounts where they can access their online classes. The distribution of modules is also currently on going to be picked up inside the school by parents or guardians at a specific time and date per department.

As students adapt to the new normal, we are also proud to say that our educators also prepared for this new normal. Training and seminars on the use of the different online learning platforms were conducted to make sure that they are ready to cater the needs of our students even when they are scheduled to work at home as we are still limiting physical contacts even with our employees.
Lastly, here at GNC, not even a pandemic can stop us from proving quality education. Because we believe, if we work hard together, we can make the impossible possible!
